GST Invoice Help
Use this guide to provide correct business details, understand invoice generation, and request assistance with GST documents for eligible Tech2Cart orders.
1. Provide Correct GST Details
Before payment or invoice generation, enter the legal business name, GSTIN, billing address, state, postal code, and contact details exactly as registered. The buyer is responsible for checking this information before confirming an order.
2. GST Invoice Availability
A GST invoice is available where the seller, product, and transaction are eligible under applicable tax rules. The applicable GST rate, taxable value, tax amount, place of supply, and seller details may vary by product and fulfilment arrangement.
3. When the Invoice Is Generated
The invoice may be generated after payment confirmation or at the applicable order-processing stage. Once available, buyers can access the invoice from their account order area or through the invoice link supplied for the order.
4. Invoice Corrections
Contact support promptly if the invoice contains an incorrect business name, GSTIN, billing address, quantity, tax rate, or product value. Changes are subject to transaction status, seller records, tax rules, and whether the invoice has already been reported.
5. Input Tax Credit
Eligibility for input tax credit depends on applicable law, the buyer's GST registration, invoice validity, payment and filing status, and other statutory requirements. Buyers should consult their tax adviser for guidance specific to their business.
6. E-Invoice and E-Way Bill
Where required, e-invoice or e-way bill information may be generated based on transaction value, goods, distance, seller eligibility, and statutory rules. Buyers must provide accurate dispatch and delivery information to avoid document errors or transit delays.
7. Download and Record Keeping
Download and retain invoices, payment receipts, e-way bills, and related order records for accounting and compliance. Tech2Cart may retain copies according to operational, tax, dispute, and legal record-keeping requirements.
8. GST Support
When requesting help, include the purchase-order number, invoice number if available, registered business name, GSTIN, and a clear description of the required correction. Do not send passwords, OTPs, or complete payment credentials.
